윤양호는 28년에 걸쳐 단색화 작업에 심혈을 기울여왔다. 그가 처음으로 단색에 관심을 가진 때는 1994년으로 흰 광목 천에 검정색 원을 그린 연작을 제작할 때이다. 그 후 다색으로 제작한 작업도 있었으나 전체적으로는 청색 계열의 단색화가 압도적으로 많다.

Yoon Yang ho has dedicated himself to monochrome work for 28 years. His first interest in monochrome began in 1994 when he created a series of works featuring black circles on white canvas. Although he has also produced works in multiple colors, the majority of his pieces are overwhelmingly in shades of blue.
