청향갤러리는 2024년 9월 26일부터 29일까지 개최되는 아트대구 2024의 부스 B5에서 윤양호와 홍형표의 2인 부스전을 선보인다. 윤양호는 '오직 모를 뿐'과 'SEIN, DASEIN'을 포함한 9점을 전시하고, 홍형표는 '미생예찬 米(美)生禮讚'과 '인생의 관계성'을 포함한 14점을 선보인다.
윤양호는 30년이 넘는 시간 동안 모노크롬 회화와 색면 추상에 새로운 가치를 부여한다. 독일 뒤셀도르프 쿤스트 아카데미에서의 유학 경험은 그의 미학적, 미술사적, 철학적, 조형적 특성을 정립하는 데 큰 도움이 되었고, 현재 그는 예술의 사회적 가치를 탐구하는 과정에서 인지학적 관점에 깊은 관심을 둔다. 다양한 재료와 기법을 연구하며 정신적 가치를 조형화하는 작업을 지속한다.
홍형표는 "고봉밥의 情"이라는 주제로 쌀과 아름다움의 조화를 통해 풍요를 표현한다. 그는 우리 사회의 공동체가 함께 한솥밥을 나누며 비로소 아름다움이 회복된다고 믿는다. 음식이자 양식인 밥은 꿈과 희망, 미래의 향기를 담고 있으며, 이러한 메시지를 통해 관객들에게 깊은 감동을 전한다.
이번 부스전은 두 작가의 독창적인 시각과 철학을 통해 서로 다른 매체와 주제를 탐구하는 기회를 제공한다. 관객들은 윤양호의 색면 추상과 홍형표의 풍요로운 메시지 속에서 예술의 새로운 가능성을 발견할 수 있을 것이다.
Cheonghyang Gallery is delighted to present a two-artist booth exhibition featuring Yoon Yang Ho and Hong Hyung Pyo at Booth B5, Art Daegu 2024, from September 26 to 29.
Yoon Yang Ho showcases nine works, including "Just Don't Know" and "SEIN, DASEIN." For over 30 years, Yoon has been redefining the value of monochrome painting and color field abstraction. His studies at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf have significantly influenced his aesthetic, art historical, philosophical, and formal characteristics. Currently, he explores the social value of art, paying keen attention to cognitive perspectives and researching various materials and techniques to shape spiritual values in his work.
Hong Hyung Pyo presents fourteen works, including "Praise of Tasty Life" and "Relatedness of Life." He explores the theme of abundance through the harmony between rice and beauty. Hong believes that beauty is restored in our society when we share meals together, viewing food as sustenance and a bowl of rice as a symbol of dreams, hope, and the fragrant essence of future life. His works aim to deliver profound messages about community and togetherness.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore the distinct perspectives and philosophies of both artists, allowing visitors to discover new possibilities in art through Yoon Yang Ho’s color field abstraction and Hong Hyung Pyo’s rich themes of abundance.
